Review Policy:
Thank you for considering me as your reviewer and/or interviewer. Please read the following before submitting your request or any media materials. I only accept physical copies or e-books. I do not accept audio books at all. Please submit your request before forwarding any materials. Requests that have not received acceptance confirmation, will not be returned. I will typically respond to submission requests within 48 hours, regardless of acceptance. There are forms for authors who have self-published, publishers, and other business inquiries (such as giveaway requests from merchandisers/loot boxes/etc.) on the contact page. Follow the instructions as printed above them.

What You Can Expect:
In addition to posting my reviews/interviews at Betwixt The Sheets, you can expect to see related posts at Goodreads, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. If your book is available on Amazon, Waterstones, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, GooglePlay Books, or listed on Bookbub, you can also expect to see related posts there. If you have a specific bookseller in mind, I am open to including them as well, if at all possible. Just include that information with your request.
Integrity is important to me. That being said, I will always post my honest opinions. I won't write a review that is disingenuous, whether or not you provide a copy of the material. I may love your book, and still have some constructive criticism to offer, or I may personally dislike it, but find it to be a really great example of its specific genre.
The business of ratings -- stars in general, will only be applied on sites where they are relied on. You will not see that kind of rating method here. As far as those go.. a 5-star from me, can be achieved. I can think of two recent authors who received just that. But they are few and far between. I am a seasoned reader, and I reserve 5-stars for books I deem truly extraordinary, both in structure, character development, and storytelling. 4-stars means I loved it, but it had something important holding it back from that top tier. 3-stars is very good, this is a solid read that probably has a few minor issues here and there, but it's still enjoyable. 2-stars means, the bad outweighs the good. I might like the characters, but perhaps there are some really annoying writing habits at play, something important is lacking, or something like that. Likewise, I typically only drop a 1-star on something that is a bit of a train wreck. Weak story, no character depth, poor dialogue.. you get the picture.

Turnaround Time:
If you have a specific deadline in mind, please include that with your submitted request. You can typically expect to see a review of your book within 4-6 weeks of acceptance, as I schedule them into my workflow. If you need it sooner, but don't have a set deadline, let me know that too. I'm happy to work within your time constraints wherever I can. If you provide an ARC for an accepted submission, I will make it a priority read, in the order ARCs are received.
